Mission Statement

Our goal is to produce horses that are mentally and physically willing and able to perform as companions and athletes.

Who we are

    Wendy Lumbert and George Paptzun are the owners of Cool Performance Horses. They've been married for 15 years and have been raising, training and competing horses together for almost that long. In past years their focus was primarily hunters and jumpers. In 1994 they decided to concentrate solely on Arabian horses with the goal of producing exceptional endurance and trail horses.

    Wendy put all her energy into endurance and was selected for the 1997 Pan American Pacific South team and the 1999 Pan American Pacific North team. She now has over 2000 miles in endurance competition and a top 20 Tevis finish.

In addition, our endurance horses are bred with the all-important desire to win, a highly inheritable trait.
